Plant Manager

Location: Oklahoma City, OK Area
Compensation: $175,000-$200,000 Base Salary Comprehensive Benefits

Our client, a leading manufacturer within the building products industry, is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead operations at a high-volume manufacturing facility. This individual will be responsible for overall plant performance, including safety, quality, productivity, maintenance, employee engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Provide leadership and direction for all plant operations, ensuring achievement of safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, employee development, and operational excellence.
• Develop and monitor key performance metrics to ensure operational goals are achieved.
• Partner with department leaders to improve production efficiency, equipment reliability, and overall plant performance.
• Lead capital improvement projects, including planning, budgeting, implementation, and return-on-investment analysis.
• Drive structured problem-solving efforts and sustainable corrective actions to resolve operational challenges.
• Support and enhance preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to maximize equipment uptime.
• Promote Lean manufacturing principles through initiatives such as 5S, visual management, standard work, and continuous improvement programs.
• Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations while maintaining a strong safety-first culture.
• Build organizational capability through training, coaching, and talent development.
  
  

• Bachelor's degree required; Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred.
• 10 years of manufacturing experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
• Previous leadership experience overseeing large manufacturing operations.
• Strong background in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience driving operational performance improvements across safety, quality, productivity, and cost metrics.
• Working knowledge of tools such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, root cause analysis, preventive maintenance systems, and quality management systems.
• Ability to analyze operational and financial performance and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
