DSJ Global is partnered with a paper manufacturing organization in southeastern Mississippi. We are actively looking for an experienced Plant Manager to lead a facility through a critical phase of operational improvement and organizational transformation. This individual will have full site leadership responsibility and will play a key role in strengthening operational performance, employee engagement, reliability, quality, and overall business results.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership for a manufacturing facility.
- Drive operational excellence initiatives focused on safety, quality, production, reliability, and cost performance.
- Build a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
- Lead and develop a cross-functional leadership team across operations, maintenance, quality, HR, safety, and engineering.
- Foster positive employee and labor relations within a unionized manufacturing environment.
- Improve plant performance through effective problem-solving and execution.
- Partner with senior leadership to achieve strategic business objectives.
- Support major maintenance outages, capital projects, and site improvement initiatives.
- Maintain a strong presence on the production floor while effectively managing administrative responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience leading a manufacturing facility as a Mill Manager, Plant Manager, Operations Manager, or similar site leadership role.
- Strong background in turnaround, transformation, or performance improvement environments.
- Demonstrated success leading diverse teams and developing frontline and salaried leaders.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, maintenance, quality, and production systems.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on leadership.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Paper, packaging, pulp, or other process manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
