The company is seeking a Corporate Health & Safety Manager to provide enterprise-wide leadership, direction, and advisory support across multiple manufacturing locations.
This role partners closely with plant leadership, site safety teams, and corporate stakeholders to strengthen safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement. While site teams manage day-to-day execution, this position serves as a strategic resource, helping standardize programs and elevate performance across the organization.
Enterprise Safety Leadership
- Serve as a trusted advisor and mentor to site safety teams
- Partner with plant leadership to support and enhance local safety initiatives
- Promote consistency across locations through sharing best practices and standardizing approaches
- Provide guidance on compliance with applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations
- Support internal and external audits, identifying gaps and driving corrective actions
- Monitor regulatory changes and communicate updates across the organization
- Develop and maintain company-wide safety standards aligned with industry regulations and frameworks
- Review incident investigations to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Support root cause analysis and ensure effective corrective and preventive actions are implemented
- Assist sites in developing risk mitigation strategies, including hazard analysis and exposure reduction programs
- Design and implement enterprise-wide training programs to complement site-level initiatives
- Support onboarding, refresher training, and leadership development in safety practices
- Promote employee engagement and accountability in maintaining a strong safety culture
- Standardize safety policies, procedures, and reporting frameworks
- Track and analyze key safety performance metrics across the organization
- Provide regular reporting to senior leadership on trends and improvement opportunities
- Utilize digital platforms to monitor compliance, incidents, and performance data
- Support development and testing of site emergency response plans
- Provide resources for crisis management and preparedness
- Collaborate with external agencies to ensure readiness for various emergency scenarios
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
- 10 years of experience in health and safety leadership, preferably within manufacturing or industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., OSHA, process safety, industrial hygiene, ergonomics)
- Experience with EHS management systems and digital reporting tools
- Proven ability to analyze data and communicate insights to senior leadership
- Strong collaboration and influencing skills across multi-site operations
- Professional certifications (e.g., CSP, ISO Lead Auditor, OSHA certifications) preferred
