Chemical Engineering Manager

We're partnering with a well‑established chemical manufacturing organization seeking a Chemical Engineering Manager to provide technical leadership across a high‑impact manufacturing operation. This role offers a strong balance of hands‑on problem solving, people leadership, and strategic influence.


As the Chemical Engineering Manager, You Will…

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of process and project engineers supporting continuous manufacturing operations
• Own process optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and throughput
• Serve as a technical leader for process safety management (PSM), MOC, and operational excellence programs
• Partner closely with Operations, Maintenance, EHS, and Plant Leadership to resolve technical challenges and support production goals
• Support and execute capital projects, from front‑end scoping through commissioning and startup
• Drive improvements in yield, reliability, cost, and overall plant performance through data‑driven decision making
  
  
  

The Chemical Engineering Manager Should Have…

• BS in Chemical Engineering (required)
• 8 years of experience in chemical or related manufacturing environments
• Prior experience leading, mentoring, or developing engineers (formal or informal leadership)
• Strong exposure to:
  • Continuous chemical processes
  • Plant support and troubleshooting
  • Capital project execution
  • Process safety and MOC systems
• Experience in specialty chemicals, polymers, resins, or advanced materials is strongly preferred
