Account Manager

We are seeking a customer-focused Account Manager to serve as the primary point of contact for key customers within a highly technical manufacturing environment. This individual will manage customer relationships, oversee order fulfillment activities, coordinate with internal operations teams, and ensure customer expectations are met throughout the product lifecycle.

The ideal candidate combines strong account management and customer service skills with the ability to understand technical products, manufacturing processes, and complex customer requirements.

• Act as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams, maintaining strong long-term business relationships.
• Manage day-to-day customer activities including order status, delivery commitments, schedule changes, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate closely with manufacturing, production planning, engineering, supply chain, and operations teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Review and process order changes while communicating any impact to pricing, lead times, production schedules, or delivery commitments.
• Provide customers with timely updates regarding production schedules, order status, inventory availability, and shipment timelines.
• Lead customer discussions regarding pricing adjustments, commercial negotiations, and service-related matters.
• Deliver difficult or complex information to customers while maintaining trust and positive business relationships.
• Support business growth within existing accounts by identifying opportunities to expand customer engagement.
• Prepare and deliver customer presentations, business reviews, and status updates.
• Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to established business processes.
  
  

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• 5 years of experience in Account Management, Customer Service, Program Management, or a related customer-facing role.
• Experience working within a manufacturing, contract manufacturing, electronics, industrial, or technical product environment.
• Familiarity with manufacturing operations, production processes, and supply chain activities.
• Experience supporting electronic products, hardware, electromechanical assemblies, or other technical products is highly preferred.
• Prior experience as an engineer, engineering technician, manufacturing technician, or other technical role is a strong plus.
• Proven ability to manage customer relationships and serve as the primary business contact for strategic accounts.
• Experience negotiating pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial matters with customers.
• Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  
  

• Contract manufacturing or electronics manufacturing services (EMS) experience.
• Customer-facing experience supporting complex manufactured products.
• ERP/MRP system experience.
• Background working cross-functionally with engineering, operations, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
• Experience managing customer expectations in a deadline-driven production environment.
