This individual will support process improvements, maintain strong internal controls, and partner with leadership to provide clear financial insights that support business operations and growth.

The ideal candidate will have experience in construction or field service environments, strong knowledge of ERP systems, and familiarity with platforms such as ServiceTitan, Procore, or similar service management systems. This individual will support process improvements, maintain strong internal controls, and partner with leadership to provide clear financial insights that support business operations and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the monthly financial close process, ensuring GAAP-compliant monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and completion of key balance sheet reconciliations.
- Oversee cash management and support accurate cash forecasting while monitoring working capital, billing accuracy, and cost controls.
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with tax filings, external audit requests, and day-to-day AR and AP operations.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in partnership with the CEO and Regional Finance Business Partner, including oversight of job costing and project-level financial tracking.
- Manage and maintain accounting systems such as ServiceTitan, Sage, or similar platforms, supporting payroll, billing, and financial reporting processes within a B2B field services environment.
- Timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Cash flow optimization.
- Strong controls and compliance management.
- Budgeting and forecasting support.
- 5 years in general ledger accounting.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as Sage Intacct, NetSuite, SAP, or similar platforms.
- Robust knowledge of % of completion accounting, inventory/WIP management, lease accounting, and GAAP entries.
- Track record in enhancing financial processes, particularly in B2B field services.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA, CMA, or CGMA preferred.
- High integrity and pragmatic accounting expertise.
- Strong influencing skills and the ability to communicate financial concepts to non-finance employees.
