- Participate in creating and implementing training programs.
- Partner with SMEs to create SOPs & work instructions for each department.
- Submit reports on training activities and results.
- Recommend improvements or new programs.
- Adhere to all of Mattr & DSG-Canusa Safety Standards and Safe Work Practices.
- Follow and abide by Mattr Code of Ethics and Business Conduct Standards.
- Maintain training records (e.g. trainee lists, schedules, attendance sheets).
- Prepare and disseminate material (e.g. instructional notes, feedback forms).
- Plan and organize training sessions including scheduling training sessions, booking venues or training rooms, and coordinating with trainers or facilitators and management team.
- Update training materials, including presentations, handouts, and training manuals.
- Maintain accurate records of all training activities, including attendance lists, evaluations, and certifications.
- Communicate with employees about upcoming training opportunities, provide necessary information or materials, and answer any questions or concerns related to training.
- Facilitate training sessions as needed.
- Evaluate training effectiveness by collecting feedback from participants and assess the effectiveness of training programs to identify areas for improvement.
- Track training expenses, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints, and seeking cost-effective training solutions.
- Research and suggest new training methods by staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in training and development, and may suggest new training techniques or tools to improve the effectiveness of training programs.
- Stay informed about training regulations by maintain an understanding of any legal or regulatory requirements related to training and ensure compliance with applicable laws and policies.
- Technical Course or Certificate
- University Degree
- 3-5 years of experience in a training role (preferred)
