Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Logistics Account Manager to help lead and grow our logistics team in Dallas. This position is eligible for commissions, base, and bonuses. Sales and Ops(track & trace, load posting, carrier sales) support day one.
Duties
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing logistics clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention
- Identify new business opportunities through warm calling, networking, and market analysis to expand the client base
- Lead negotiations on contracts, pricing, and service terms to secure mutually beneficial agreements
- Develop customized logistics solutions by collaborating with internal teams and leveraging technology sales tools such as Salesforce
- Drive business development initiatives by engaging in B2B sales strategies, marketing campaigns, and industry events
- Oversee account management activities, including tracking performance metrics, analyzing data for continuous improvement, and delivering regular reports to clients
- Provide leadership within the team by mentoring junior staff and fostering a proactive sales culture
Requirements
- Proven experience in negotiation, B2B sales, or technical sales within the logistics or supply chain industry
- Strong business development skills with a track record of expanding client portfolios
- Excellent communication skills to effectively present solutions and build rapport with clients at all levels
- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms for managing accounts and sales pipelines
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data for strategic decision-making
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects, motivate teams, and handle multiple priorities efficiently
- Knowledge of logistics operations, technology sales processes, and marketing principles is highly desirable
