About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Marketing and Sales Specialist to support nonprofit organizations in amplifying their mission, increasing donor engagement, and driving sustainable revenue through strategic marketing and outreach efforts. This role blends cause-driven marketing with consultative sales, helping nonprofits grow their impact through effective communication, campaigns, and partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute marketing strategies tailored to nonprofit clients, including content creation, social media, email campaigns, and donor communications.
- Generate leads and build relationships with nonprofit organizations, understanding their needs and aligning them with our services/products.
- Sell marketing or fundraising solutions (such as CRM tools, digital campaigns, consulting services, etc.) to nonprofit clients.
- Collaborate with nonprofit stakeholders to design and implement impactful fundraising campaigns.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, using data to optimize for engagement, retention, and conversion.
- Assist in organizing webinars, events, and other outreach efforts to raise awareness and generate partnerships.
- Maintain a deep understanding of trends in nonprofit marketing, donor behavior, and social impact communication.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2 years of experience in marketing, sales, or nonprofit development.
- Strong understanding of nonprofit operations, fundraising cycles, and donor engagement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in marketing tools such as Mailchimp, Canva, HubSpot, or similar.
- Passion for social impact and helping mission-driven organizations grow.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working within or selling to nonprofit organizations.
- Knowledge of donor databases (e.g., Salesforce, Bloomerang, NeonCRM).
- Familiarity with Google Ads Grants, SEO, or digital fundraising best practices.
- Graphic design or copywriting skills a plus.
