Assistant Project Manager
Position Summary
The Field Assistant Project Manager supports the Project Manager by overseeing daily job site activities, coordinating subcontractors, monitoring quality, and ensuring projects progress safely and efficiently. This position spends the majority of the day in the field visiting active projects and serving as the Project Manager's eyes and ears.
Primary Responsibilities
Job Site Management
- Visit multiple active projects daily.
- Verify work is progressing according to schedule.
- Ensure subcontractors have the information and materials needed.
- Identify issues before they become delays.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site.
Quality Control
- Inspect workmanship throughout the project.
- Verify work meets DRYUNOW quality standards.
- Create punch lists and monitor completion.
- Photograph project progress.
- Report deficiencies to the Project Manager.
Customer Relations
- Meet with homeowners during site visits.
- Answer basic project questions.
- Keep customers informed of upcoming work.
- Escalate concerns to the Project Manager when needed.
Coordination
- Assist with scheduling subcontractors.
- Verify material deliveries.
- Coordinate inspections.
- Confirm permits are posted when required.
- Help resolve field conflicts between trades.
Documentation
- Update PSA with daily job notes.
- Upload progress photos.
- Record completed work.
- Document delays, change requests, and field
Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
