Entry-Level Architectural Drafter
DRYTEC is a building envelope consulting firm providing services for existing buildings, new construction, renovations, and restorations. We work with owners, architects, and contractors to deliver straightforward, cost-effective solutions for all components of the building envelope. Our projects include commercial, educational, institutional, and other building types.
Responsibilities
- Produce and revise technical drawings using AutoCAD
- Coordinate drawings with in-house staff and external design team members
- Collaborate with the team to meet drawing production deadlines
- Interpret construction documents for drafting tasks
- Assist with drawing coordination, revisions, and document control
- Perform primarily drafting work with occasional field work alongside senior staff
- Work in the office daily; attend job sites as needed
Qualifications
- Ability to read and understand construction documents
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Entry-level knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Willingness to work in-office and travel to job sites as required
Preferred
- Degree or coursework in architecture, drafting, or construction
- Internship or academic experience with construction documentation
