Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Restoration Technician based in Shelton, CT. The Restoration Technician will perform tasks such as water damage mitigation, structural drying, fire and smoke cleanup, mold inspection and remediation, sewage and biohazard cleanup, storm response, and odor control. Responsibilities include operating specialized equipment, following safety protocols, conducting property assessments, and ensuring effective communication with clients during the restoration process.
Qualifications
- Experience in Water Damage and Water Damage Restoration techniques
- Understanding of Mitigation processes and procedures
- Strong Communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members
- Knowledge of handling Invasive Species and other environmental challenges is a plus
- Ability to operate restoration equipment and follow IICRC-aligned methods
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physical capability to perform tasks such as lifting and working in varying conditions
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Previous experience in restoration or a related field is preferred
