Drylock Technologies in Eau Claire, WI is looking for a Materials & Purchasing Manager with a strong day-one focus on MRO inventory, parts room organization, maintenance service levels, and purchasing follow-through in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This is a true player-coach leadership role—ideal for someone who can stabilize the parts room, build stronger MRO controls, lead people, and still step into the work when maintenance, production, or suppliers need support.

The biggest day-one opportunity in this role is the MRO parts room. Maintenance depends on accurate inventory, organized storage, reliable min/max levels, timely purchasing, and fast issue resolution. This role owns the discipline needed to turn the parts room into a stronger service function for the plant.
- Stabilize and improve the MRO parts room as the immediate priority
- Improve parts availability, inventory accuracy, storage organization, and transaction discipline
- Build a more responsive, service-focused parts room model for maintenance and production support
- Lead purchasing follow-through so critical parts, supplies, and repairs do not stall plant execution
What You’ll Own
- Day-one leadership of the MRO parts room, including organization, accountability, service expectations, and follow-through
- MRO inventory strategy, including critical spares, min/max levels, cycle counts, obsolete parts, and replenishment discipline
- Parts availability and responsiveness to maintenance work orders, urgent repairs, planned shutdowns, and production support needs
- Purchasing execution for MRO and plant materials, including purchase orders, supplier follow-up, delivery tracking, and expediting
- ERP/MRP accuracy, transaction compliance, cycle counting, and data cleanup tied to parts room performance
- Daily leadership of buyers and parts room team members with clear expectations, coaching, and accountability

- Have led or improved an MRO parts room, storeroom, maintenance inventory, or plant materials function

- Understand how poor inventory accuracy, weak replenishment, or missing parts can impact maintenance and production
- Can lead people while staying close enough to the work to remove barriers and improve daily execution
- Communicate well with maintenance, production, warehouse, suppliers, and corporate sourcing

What You Bring
- 5–10 years of experience in manufacturing materials, MRO, purchasing, supply chain, maintenance stores, or inventory leadership
- Hands-on experience improving parts room, storeroom, or MRO inventory performance
- Strong understanding of critical spares, min/max planning, cycle counts, inventory accuracy, and replenishment processes
- Experience supporting maintenance and production in a manufacturing or plant operations environment
- Leadership or supervisory experience in an operational setting
- Strong ERP/MRP and inventory control experience; SAP experience is helpful
