Role Description The Stylist – Is a Service Provider, on-site position based in Nashville, Brentwood and/or Franklin, TN. In this role, the stylist provides exceptional blowout services, including shampooing, blow-drying, and styling hair according to Drybar standards and style menu. The stylist consults with guests to understand their preferences, recommends appropriate styles and products, and delivers an outstanding, consistent guest experience. Daily responsibilities include maintaining a clean and organized station, following sanitation and safety protocols, and supporting team members to ensure efficient salon operations. The stylist also promotes Drybar services, memberships, and products, and may assist with check-in, check-out, and appointment flow as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid cosmetology, Braider or Barber license in the state of Tennessee and strong technical hairstyling skills, particularly in blowouts and finishing techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent guest service, including active listening, professional communication, and a friendly, welcoming demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced salon environment, manage time effectively, and follow established service standards and protocols.
- Commitment to cleanliness and safety, including adherence to sanitation guidelines and proper use of tools and products.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by salon operations.
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude, reliability, and a desire to learn and grow within the Drybar brand.
- Experience in blow-dry bars or salon environments is preferred, and familiarity with Drybar styles and products is a plus.
