We are seeking a dedicated Landscaper/Groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various landscaping tasks to maintain outdoor spaces.
Duties
- Perform irrigation system installation & maintenance
- Conduct tree care including trimming & pruning
- Mow and edge lawns to maintain a neat appearance
- Assist in landscape construction projects
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain equipment
- Perform grounds keeping duties to upkeep outdoor areas
- Use power tools for various landscaping tasks
Qualifications
- Experience in landscape maintenance and construction is preferred.
- Ability to perform tree trimming and tree care tasks
- Proficiency in using power tools and equipment
- Knowledge of grounds keeping practices
- Mechanical aptitude for equipment maintenance
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
- Must be able to bend, stoop, and lift objects weighing 50 pounds
- Must be able to work in inclement weather , such as extreme heat or cold
- Must have experience operating professional grade mowers
- Must be able to appropriately represent the Cemetery District's standards in view of the public.
