Position Overview: The customer service representative is the gateway to the organization and must use excellent customer service skills to take and route calls for the rest of the organization.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Use excellent customer service skills to handle calls and inquiries. Resolve customer issues to the fullest extent possible before transferring a call.
  • Coordinate pickups, lease transfers, and repossessions as needed.
  • Sorting and delivering incoming mail and collecting and sending outgoing mail.
  • Create documents, maintain databases, and send memos and emails.
  • Collecting, filing, and organizing office documents, such as reports and confidential records.
  • Managing digital document filing, including encrypted documents and email correspondence.
  • Preparing or processing basic quotes.
  • Packaging and shipping company materials
  • Capacity to take and/or route any call.
  • Contact customers regarding returned mail and emails.
  • Next day deliveries calls
  • Other duties as assigned.

Supervision Received: The position is supervised by the Accounting Manager.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Excellent communication abilities, including speaking, writing and active listening.
  • Effective organization and time management skills, like prioritization, multitasking and planning.
  • Great customer service skills, including a personable and positive attitude.
  • High typing speed and accuracy.
  • Good computer skills, including basic troubleshooting and using word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and email software applications.
  • Problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with little-to-no supervision.
  • Keen attention to detail.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • This position requires a High School Degree. A minimum of one (1) year experience in an office environment is required.

MINIMUM TECHNICAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Organized, good time management skills, able to handle multiple projects, positive attitude even under stress, strong Excel skills, Driver’s License, and ability to pass a background check.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • The preferred level of education is an Associate’s Degree or higher.
  • The preferred level of experience is two (2) years’ experience in an office environment.

Pay Range: $20-22 per hour.
