Job Duties: Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders as needed. Research, prepare, and initially analyze various project reports, cost savings analysis, and request for quotations. Identify and support sourcing/cost savings projects. Research and provide resolution to product issues or concerns. Review and confirm order acknowledgments provided by vendors; including acknowledgment of delivery dates, accuracy of materials ordered, quantities and pricing. Communicate with suppliers regarding lead times, status of orders, expedition of orders to meet required dates, as well as tracking information when materials ship. Investigate invoices that are not correct and work with vendor for resolution. Gather information/specification sheets from suppliers and set up new materials in Workday as needed. GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY: Strong written and verbal communication skill. Keen attention to detail; Results driven. Effective problem solving/critical thinking skills. Possess high level of organizational and interpersonal skills. Team player who works productively with a wide range of people. Motivated self-starter, comfortable in fast-paced environment. Demonstrates the ability to research, assemble, and analyze information. Ability to anticipate needs/options/consequences. Manages time effectively and adapts quickly to changing priorities. Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Three to five years of experience in a similar field. Microsoft Office, Workday, SAP.
