Duties
- Assist the Director of Nursing in developing and implementing strategic plans to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency
- Oversee daily nursing operations, ensuring high standards of clinical care and patient safety are maintained across all departments
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning, professional growth, and teamwork
- Manage , monitor resource allocation, and optimize staffing levels to meet service demands effectively
- Coordinate educational programs and training initiatives to enhance staff skills and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop policies, procedures, and quality improvement projects aligned with organizational goals
Qualifications
- Proven experience in nursing management or leadership roles within healthcare settings
- Strong background in strategic planning, budgeting, and management principles
- Demonstrated expertise in education administration and facilitating professional development opportunities
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment
- Prior experience working within a university or academic healthcare environment is highly desirable
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree or higher preferred
