What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Analyst position at DRUM Associates?
We’re partnering with a leading media organization to bring on a Business Analyst to support a high-impact process improvement and automation initiative. This role will focus on optimizing two critical workflows across their workforce strategy and operations.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of operations, process design, and stakeholder collaboration, especially in early-stage initiatives where you can help shape direction from the ground up.
What You’ll Do
- Map and assess current-state workflows across Req-to-Hire and Source-to-Contract
- Conduct stakeholder interviews to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and delays
- Recommend improvements by rethinking processes (e.g., shifting from linear to parallel workflows)
- Partner cross-functionally with teams including recruiting, procurement, and legal
- Support early-stage automation efforts by defining opportunities before technical implementation
- Work closely with other BAs and leadership to consolidate findings and build a roadmap
- Stay engaged across the full lifecycle — from discovery and scoping through execution
What We’re Looking For
- Experience as a Business Analyst, Operations Analyst, or Process Improvement Analyst
- Strong ability to map processes, identify gaps, and drive improvements
- Comfortable working in ambiguous, early-stage environments
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to think critically about how processes function end-to-end
- Exposure to tools like Workday, Greenhouse, or procurement platforms (e.g., Zip) is a plus
- Technical understanding (e.g., APIs, integrations) is helpful but not required
Additional Details
- High level of autonomy and ownership. You’ll be trusted to dig in and drive insights
- Collaborative environment with strong BA and leadership support
- Opportunity to help shape longer-term process and automation strategy
