1st Shift CMM Programmer
The CMM Programmer is responsible for programming coordinate measurement machines (CMM). Candidates need to be able to analyze drawings, sketches and design data of parts, as well as identify tooling and fixtures – if necessary. Need to be able to writes instructions, and generate in-process inspection sheets to guide setup and operation of CMM. Requires experience using PC-DMIS and must have the ability to program from engineering models as well as from drawings.
Qualifications:
- Prefer five years’ experience in machining
- Must be able to read and interpret detail prints
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Must be proficient in use of GD&T
- Must be familiar with three, four and five axis milling
- Prefer three years’ experience inspecting aerospace parts
- Must be proficient using models to write programs
- Must have five years recent experience programming with PC-DMIS
- Ability to multi-task
- Candidates need to be dependable and motivated
