The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) is seeking a skilled Senior MuleSoft Engineer to join our team and play a vital role in designing, developing, and managing APIs and integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
Key Responsibilities
:• Design, develop, and implement APIs and integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
.• Develop reusable and scalable integration frameworks and templates
.• Ensure the quality, performance, and security of APIs by following best practices and standards
.• Monitor and troubleshoot API performance issues and implement enhancements
.• Create and maintain technical documentation, including API specifications, data flows, and integration designs
.• Support the deployment and maintenance of MuleSoft integrations in production environments
.
Qualification
s:• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fiel
d.• 5 years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including API design and integration developmen
t.• Strong knowledge of REST, SOAP, RAML, and/or OAS (OpenAPI Specification
).• Experience with MuleSoft components such as API Manager, Runtime Manager, and DataWeav
e.• Proficiency in Java, XML, JSON, and related technologie
s.• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Gi
t.• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detai
l.
Preferred Skil
ls:• MuleSoft Certified Developer (MCD) or MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect (MC
PA)• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Clo
ud.• Knowledge of microservices architecture and integration patter
ns.• Advance experience in understanding the requirements and translate it into technical designs leverag
ingservices using RAML in Mule, REST based APIs, SOAP Web services and use of different mule connecto
rs.• Advanced and practical technical experience in version Mulesoft 4.2 or higher. (GTRI currently on 4
