DRM Industries Corp. is a dynamic, employee-owned manufacturing organization built on a foundation of innovation, collaboration, and shared success. With multiple divisions under our growing family of companies, we’re seeking a strategic and passionate Human Resources Assistant to support the Human Resources department by managing administrative responsibilities aiding with recruitment, onboarding and employee communications. This position will support our Lake Delton, Reedsburg and Baraboo facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, qualify, interview, and recommend applicants for positions within DRM.
- Coordinate employment offers and manage onboarding process including pre-employment screening and all applicant and new hire paperwork.
- Assist new employees with benefits enrollment and existing employees with annual Benefits Open Enrollment.
- Coordinate outreach with local High Schools and Colleges.
- Manage DRM social media accounts and assist with internal communication campaigns (postings, announcements, newsletters, etc.)
- Coordinate and promote onsite events and activities. As appropriate, source and select vendors. Manage event logistics including venue (booking, set-up, breakdown), timelines, staff coordination and any problem solving to address issues that may arise.
- Assist staff with business trip coordination including travel (flights, transportation), hotels, tradeshow events (booths related logistics, dues and fees).
- Assist in drafting, formatting and preparing reports and PowerPoint presentations for Staff as needed.
- Work with Human Resources Manager to develop and deliver training presentations (interviewing skills, benefits communication, harassment and workplace violence, etc.)
- Assist with implementation of human resources procedures and processes.
- Monitor and update DOT documentation as needed.
- Acts as a role model within and outside the company.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of relevant experience; previous experience in Human Resources preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters appropriately
- High level or organization and time management skills
- Ability to work independently, multi-task and prioritize
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
