Position Overview
DriveShop is seeking an automotive sales leader to drive new business, grow existing client relationships and build a disciplined, high-performing sales organization. The Sales Director will sell DriveShop’s complete platform, bringing together fleet, experiential, creator, content, media and retail capabilities to solve client business challenges. This person will work closely with the CRO, CMO, account leadership, production and operations to develop opportunities, lead pitches and convert relationships into profitable, long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute DriveShop’s regional/national sales strategy.
• Build and manage a qualified new-business pipeline.
• Generate revenue across DriveShop’s full range of capabilities.
• Expand existing client relationships into new departments and services.
• Lead prospecting, discovery meetings, proposals, presentations and negotiations.
• Build senior relationships across automotive marketing, communications, fleet, regional, dealer and procurement teams.
• Translate client needs into integrated, executable solutions.
• Establish clear goals, account ownership and performance expectations.
• Lead regular pipeline reviews and improve forecasting accuracy.
• Partner with account teams to identify organic growth opportunities.
• Maintain accurate CRM, revenue and gross-profit reporting.
• Represent DriveShop at automotive and marketing industry events.
Qualifications
• 7 years of sales or business-development experience.
• Proven success selling complex services to automotive OEMs, agencies or mobility companies.
• Strong relationships within the automotive industry.
• Experience selling integrated marketing, experiential, media, production, fleet or retail solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to build pipelines and close large, multi-stakeholder opportunities.
• Experience leading and developing sales teams.
• Strong financial, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Ability to travel regularly.
