COMMUNICATIONS & FLEET COORDINATOR – Orange County Area
A leading national marketing and professional services company serving OEM automotive manufacturers and their agency partners is seeking a Fleet Coordinator to join our Orange County regional team. We produce marketing programs and events that showcase the latest makes and models in the automotive industry.
The Fleet Coordinator will work closely with media partners including automotive, lifestyle, and influencer contacts to support product communications and coordinate vehicle test drive schedules in alignment with client-approved initiatives. This role also contributes to broader client strategies, media test drive programs, and event activation planning.
The ideal candidate will proactively manage fleet activities, anticipate servicing needs, and respond to client requests while keeping all surrounding tasks organized and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain strong relationships with clients and media partners
- Coordinate automotive, lifestyle, and social media vehicle loan schedules for regional fleet programs
- Monitor upcoming fleet activity and proactively prepare necessary adjustments
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding regional fleet operations, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and supported
- Maintain and grow relationships with regional media contacts, including participation in automotive journalist groups
- Track fleet program activity and budgets, making adjustments as needed
- Collaborate with the Fleet Operations Manager/Lead Driver on vehicle logistics, including receipt, shipment, activation, and turn-in in accordance with client protocols
- Ensure all client initiatives and programs are executed with a high level of quality and attention to detail
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, or 1-2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Skills & Requirements:
- Strong organizational, communication, and relationship management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams) and other relevant software tools
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent driving skills, including maneuvering in tight spaces and corners preferred
- Experience operating vehicle lifts in a warehouse environment preferred
- Valid driver’s license in good standing is a must
- Reliable transportation to and from work is a must
