Technical Business Analyst Senior
The Senior Technical Business Analyst drives feature and product-level technical analysis while providing strategic leadership across the business analysis organization. This expert-level role involves managing high-impact technical requirements initiatives, establishing analysis standards, and ensuring successful delivery of complex technical solutions that significantly impact business objectives and engineering effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
The Senior Technical Business Analyst drives feature and product-level technical analysis while providing strategic leadership across the business analysis organization. This expert-level role involves managing high-impact technical requirements initiatives, establishing analysis standards, and ensuring successful delivery of complex technical solutions that significantly impact business objectives and engineering effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
- Produce strategic functional designs and comprehensive wireframes for complex internal web-based tools and enterprise-level systems within the Engineering group with significant organizational impact
- Lead analysis of sophisticated 3rd party APIs, complex data exchange architectures, and enterprise integration patterns required for strategic technical projects including development tools and automation systems
- Produce comprehensive data maps between multiple complex source and target systems with sophisticated transformation logic, data governance, and enterprise data flow orchestration
- Lead strategic communications with key 3rd party vendors and partners to address enterprise-level technical questions, resolve complex integration issues, and coordinate strategic partnership requests
- Schedule, plan, and lead strategic requirement gathering and review meetings with senior stakeholders across multiple organizations, ensuring effective communication of critical decisions and strategic action items
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of multiple existing software applications to understand and document complex enterprise functionality and strategic system relationships
- Work strategically with Product Owners, designers, and Development teams to convert complex business requirements into comprehensive developer-friendly specifications spanning multiple product features
- Lead Product Owners through detailed scope validation for complex completed development work across integrated product suites and enterprise systems
- Design sophisticated alternate solution paths when complex requirements can't be met within project constraints, providing strategic options that inform critical business decisions
- Take strategic role in establishing and enforcing enterprise-level requirements gathering and documentation practices across multiple engineering teams and organizational boundaries
- Lead creation of comprehensive product documentation and strategic training materials for complex technical features, enterprise integrations, and organizational process improvements
Required Skills:
- 6-8 years of expert-level experience developing complex software applications and supporting sophisticated production environments, preferably with .NET development background
- 5 years of extensive experience uncovering and writing detailed technical requirements for enterprise systems, complex integrations, and strategic technical initiatives
- Strategic ability to quickly master complex enterprise systems and understand their sophisticated integration within larger organizational contexts and market ecosystems
- Expert skills in exhaustively questioning senior stakeholders to uncover strategic objectives, comprehensive requirements, and sophisticated edge cases across multiple business and technical domains
- Expert experience in wireframing complex enterprise web-based tools with mastery of advanced wireframing tools and sophisticated user experience design methodologies
- Exceptional attention to detail with strategic risk management expertise and ability to identify and mitigate complex technical, business, and organizational risks
- Expert conflict resolution abilities with proven experience resolving complex organizational disagreements and strategic cross-functional conflicts
- Strategic ability to balance competing business and technical objectives when making enterprise-level decisions with significant organizational and market impac
- Expert ability to balance multiple high-impact assignments in complex fast-paced environments with competing strategic priorities and enterprise resource constraints
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills with proven ability to drive enterprise technical analysis success and executive stakeholder satisfaction
