Responsibilities
- 5–7 years of progressive experience in Accounting, Finance, Business Operations, Human Resources, or a related field, preferably in an ecommerce, distribution, retail, or inventory-driven environment.
- Advanced to expert-level Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, complex formulas, data analysis, reporting, and reconciliations.
- Strong database and data management skills, including importing, exporting, validating, auditing, and reconciling large datasets across multiple systems.
- Experience with ERP, accounting, or business management systems preferred; comfortable working across multiple software platforms and using system-generated data to support accounting, inventory, reconciliation, and reporting functions.
- Proven experience with Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), bank reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
- Experience reconciling ecommerce and payment platforms such as Amazon, eBay, PayPal, Shopify, BigCommerce, or similar systems.
- Sales tax oversight, including managing compliance and filings.
- Experience processing or assisting with payroll administration using Paychex, ADP, or similar payroll systems.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify discrepancies, investigate issues, and resolve them efficiently.
- Comfortable leveraging automation and AI-powered tools to increase efficiency, accuracy, and business insights.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
