We’re growing… again.

Driskell Law is hiring an experienced Family Law Paralegal to join our growing team.

We have built a strong, integrated team of attorneys and legal professionals who operate at a high level, and our caseload continues to grow. We are looking for an experienced paralegal who can step into an active caseload, take meaningful ownership of their work, and help keep cases moving from beginning to end.

This position is best suited for someone who already understands litigation, knows how to manage competing deadlines, and takes pride in producing accurate, polished work.

Prior paralegal experience is required. Family law experience is strongly preferred.

What You’ll Do

As a paralegal at Driskell Law, you will work closely with our attorneys while maintaining significant responsibility for the day-to-day progression of your assigned cases.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage a high-volume family law caseload in coordination with assigned attorneys
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, and other legal documents with precision and minimal oversight
  • Prepare and respond to discovery, including organizing and analyzing large volumes of information and documentation
  • Track case deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and procedural requirements
  • E-file documents and confirm proper processing, filing, and service
  • Maintain organized, accurate, and up-to-date electronic case files
  • Communicate directly and professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court staff, and other professionals
  • Prepare exhibits, hearing materials, case summaries, and trial notebooks
  • Assist attorneys with execution of case strategy and hearing or trial preparation
  • Monitor incoming case activity and proactively identify what needs to happen next
  • Maintain detailed case notes, including key facts, deadlines, outstanding issues, and next steps
  • Ensure work product consistently meets firm standards for accuracy, formatting, professionalism, and completeness
  • Help ensure attorneys have the information and materials they need before deadlines, hearings, mediations, and trials
What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who does not simply wait for the next assignment. Strong candidates recognize what needs to happen, communicate when something requires attorney attention, and take responsibility for moving their work forward.

Qualifications include:

  • Prior paralegal experience required
  • Family law experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple active matters
  • Strong working knowledge of litigation procedures, deadlines, and court processes
  • Experience drafting legal documents with minimal supervision
  • Exceptional attention to detail and consistently accurate work product
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional judgment when communicating with clients experiencing stressful or high-conflict situations
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case-management software; experience with MyCase is a plus
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive, accountable approach to work
  • A team-oriented mindset and willingness to contribute to the overall progression of the firm’s cases
What to Expect

  • Clear systems, structure, and accountability
  • A consistent and growing caseload—you do not need to bring your own
  • Attorneys and staff who work collaboratively rather than in silos

We expect a lot from our team, but we also believe high expectations should come with the resources, compensation, and support necessary to meet them.

Compensation & Benefits
  • $75,000 annual salary, based on experience
  • Quarterly bonus opportunities tied to transparent performance metrics
  • 70% employer-paid health insurance, including dependent coverage
  • Dental insurance
  • Vision insurance
  • Paid time off
  • Flex Time
  • Full-time, year-round position
  • Consistent caseload and opportunity for continued professional growth
Our Culture

We care about results, but we also care about the environment in which those results are produced.

We have intentionally built a firm where people work hard, communicate openly, support one another, and enjoy being part of the team. We celebrate wins, hold firm fun days, run internal contests, and maintain plenty of day-to-day interaction that keeps the office collaborative—and yes, there is a steady stream of GIFs.

We are continuing to grow, and we want people who are interested in growing with us.

If you are an experienced paralegal who takes ownership, values precision, follows through, and wants to be part of an ambitious family law firm with high standards and a strong team culture, we would like to hear from you.
