Driscon is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Architectural Designer to join our growing team. We are looking for someone with strong Revit experience who is interested in commercial and residential design projects and enjoys working in a collaborative construction environment.
This is an in-person position based in Sparta, Michigan. Candidates must be willing to commute to our office daily.
Position Responsibilities
- Create and modify architectural drawings using Revit
- Assist with commercial and residential design projects
- Develop floor plans, elevations, and construction documents
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and field teams
- Perform site measurements and assist with project planning
- Maintain organized project files and revisions
- Support permitting and construction documentation processes
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of architectural design experience preferred
- Proficiency in Revit required
- Experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, or rendering software is a plus
- Understanding of construction documents and building design
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Must be willing to travel to Sparta, Michigan for in-person work
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
