TYPE: Full Time; Hourly / Non-Exempt
POSITION DESCRIPTION: Over the course of a 12-week internship, you will execute a clearly defined project plan with measurable objectives and tangible deliverables. You will work closely with your manager, mentor, and other key stakeholders to apply your knowledge, grow your skills, and spearhead projects that have significant impact on the business. Team placements will take into account your interests/skills/major and may include, but are not limited to, Production, Warehousing, Quality, Process Improvement, Supply Chain, and more
LOCATION: The position is based at DrinkPAK's headquarters in Santa Clarita, California.

Engineering Interns will develop a deep understanding for the project they are assigned, identify opportunities for optimization, and use that mastery to deliver improved efficiency, quality, yield, throughput, and operation. Examples may include, but are not limited to:
Developing critical design criteria for beverage manufacturing equipment
Managing operational improvement initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS
Must be enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in STEM or Maintenance Technologies (Junior or Senior standing preferred)
3 months of applied engineering experience (prior internships, lab experience, and personal/team project experience is applicable)
Must be able to work full time, on-site for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks beginning May or June 2025
Ability to work well in an integrated and collaborative team environment, including frequent interactions with technicians, engineers, managers, and business leaders
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing needs and requirements
Demonstrated experience using analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities for optimization
Strong understanding of engineering drawings, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, and drawing organization

Base Hourly Compensation Range: $25 - $30
