Job Overview
The Senior Manager, FP&A serves as a strategic finance partner, providing financial planning, analysis, and decision support to drive business performance. This role is responsible for delivering actionable insights through robust financial modeling, reporting, and forecasting, enabling senior leadership to understand performance drivers, optimize costs, and improve operational efficiency.

The role has high visibility and frequent interaction with executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Partnering
Partner closely with senior leadership to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making
Deliver forward-looking analysis to identify risks, opportunities, and cost optimization initiatives
Support long-term planning and operational efficiency improvements
Financial Planning & Forecasting
Lead the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and reforecasts across assigned business areas
Develop and maintain complex financial models to support planning and scenario analysis
Consolidate financial data and present insights to senior and executive leadership
Performance Management & Reporting
Own monthly financial reporting, including KPI tracking, variance analysis, and root cause analysis
Enhance reporting processes and dashboards to improve visibility and decision-making
Provide clear, data-driven narratives on business performance
Capital & Investment Analysis
Evaluate and monitor capital expenditures and investment initiatives
Ensure alignment with financial targets and return expectations
Track performance against approved business cases
Analytics & Continuous Improvement
Leverage data analytics, BI tools, and financial systems to improve forecasting accuracy and reporting efficiency
Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, tools, and methodologies
Utilize advanced tools (e.g., Power Query, visualization platforms, AI/ML, where applicable) to enhance insights
Cross-functional Collaboration
Collaborate with Accounting, Corporate Finance, Operations, and other business units during month-end close, planning cycles, and ad hoc analyses
Support enterprise-wide financial initiatives and reporting requirements
All other reasonable duties as assigned

Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field (required)
MBA, CFA, or advanced degree (preferred)
Experience:
Minimum 7 years of FP&A experience in an industrial or operational environment (e.g., mining, manufacturing, oil & gas, construction, transportation)
Experience supporting complex business functions in a global organization
Strong background in financial modeling, reporting, and ERP systems
Experience with tools such as OneStream, QlikView, Oracle, Hyperion, Power BI, or similar platforms (highly preferred)
Private equity environment experience (a plus)
Languages:
English (fluent required)
Additional languages (a plus, especially Spanish or Polish)

Work Environment:
Primarily office-based with potential hybrid flexibility
