The team at Margaritaville Lake Resort is here to create and deliver fun and escapism for our guests, and serving excellent food is at the very heart of that.  With good pay, extensive benefits and a family atmosphere, we are looking for an energetic individual to support the bar staff at our busy lakeside Landshark Bar & Grill.

Job Type: Seasonal

Pay $15.00 per hour

Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age
Reports to: Landshark Restaurant Manager

As a Landshark Bar Back, you will be working in a fast paced environment, stocking the bar and keeping the area clean and organized.

Responsibilities include:

• Stocking bar with ice, liquor, beer, wine, juices, mixes glassware, utensils, cocktail napkins, garnishes, etc.
• Assist bartender in re-stocking and maintaining par levels of those items.
• Check taps and appliances to confirm they are working properly.
• General cleaning, wiping down surfaces, sweeping, mopping and emptying trash receptacles.
• Provide friendly, courteous service to guests and other staff members
• May be required to mix or pour drinks as needed, depending on individual ability.
• Must be able to take orders, prepare drinks, buss tables, open tabs, and process payments especially during peak hours.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Personal Skills

• Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
• Ability to scrupulously follow all Driftwood and Margaritaville Lake Resort policies and procedures.

• Projects and assignments are completed thoroughly, professionally, and with care.
• Adjusts to high-pressure conditions and is open to change.
• Consistently maintain positive demeanor.
• Assumes responsibility for personal growth and development.
• Adheres to Driftwood and Margaritaville Lake Resort uniform, grooming and appearance standards.
• Conducts him\herself professionally at all times.

Physical Requirements

• Minimum lifting/pulling of 40 pounds.
• Being on feet for an entire shift, possibly 8 hours or more.
• Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.
• Hearing.
