Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in a vibrant restaurant setting. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding customer service in the hospitality industry.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage the seating process efficiently.
• Maintain an organized waiting list and communicate wait times to guests.
• Utilize Toast POS or similar systems to manage reservations and table assignments.
• Assist with guest relations by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service.
• Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant’s menu and services.
• Uphold cleanliness and organization of the host/host area, ensuring it is inviting for guests.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members, both verbally and non-verbally.
• Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Toast Tables, is a plus.
• Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills are essential.
• A passion for hospitality and food service, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.

Pay: $15.49 - $17.00 per hour
