We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to fabricate components accurately.
- Utilize various hand tools and machinery to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts.
- Perform welding tasks using MIG, TIG, or stick welding techniques while adhering to industry codes and standards.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment safely to transport materials within the facility.
- Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve fabrication processes.
Experience
- Proven experience in welding and fabrication is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools, micrometers, and other measuring instruments effectively.
- Familiarity with industry codes and standards related to welding practices.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
- Experience operating forklifts is a plus but not mandatory; training may be provided.
- A commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail is essential.
