Duties
- Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using specialized tools and equipment to identify mechanical issues accurately.
- Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements to keep vehicles running smoothly.
- Repair or replace faulty components including engines, transmissions, suspension systems, and electrical systems with precision and care.
- Document all repair procedures thoroughly in service records and communicate findings clearly with customers and team members.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and adhere to safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Proven mechanic experience with a strong understanding of automotive repair principles and vehicle maintenance procedures. 2–3 years as an automotive technician (Subaru experience preferred)
- Mechanical knowledge of Subaru vehicles or similar makes is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently as part of component replacement tasks.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose issues accurately.
- Valid automotive technician certification or relevant mechanic training is highly desirable; ongoing learning encouraged.
