The law firm Dreyer Boyajian LLP seeks an experienced litigation paralegal for our Albany, New York location. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of litigation paralegal experience.
Key Qualifications and Responsibilities:
- 5 years of litigation paralegal experience
- Must be proactive, self-starter with initiative to drive cases forward
- Ability to exercise independent judgment
- Delivering high quality work product with accountability
- Drafting pleadings, discovery demands/responses, motions, and other documents
- Managing trial preparation, including: coordination of witnesses, logistics, trial exhibits, trial notebook, subpoenas, and courtroom technology
- Obtaining, reviewing, and organizing medical records and billings
- Assisting with calculating damages including medical expenses, lost wages, etc.
- Organizing and managing lien subrogation
- Working efficiently and cooperatively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent reading and writing skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Highly organized
- Eager to adapt to new technologies
- Able to manage multiple projects at once
- Calm under pressure
- Comfortable working as part of a collaborative office team
- Solid understanding of NYS and Federal civil litigation deadlines and rules

Salary range: $60,000-$80,000
