Drexel Interiors is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Commercial Project Engineer to support our Commercial Flooring Department. This is a full-time, on-site position, Monday through Friday.

The Commercial Project Engineer will play a key role in preparing projects for success before work begins. This position will focus on project coordination, communication, and organization to help ensure jobs run smoothly from the start. The ideal candidate will work closely with vendors, field teams, installers, and internal staff to help organize materials, travel, and project details.
Responsibilities
Support projects during the pre-construction and project startup phases.
Coordinate with vendors, field teams, and installers to prepare jobs for successful execution.
Assist with organizing travel and jobsite logistics as needed.
Help ensure all project details are in place before work begins.
Communicate with internal teams and external partners to support smooth project flow.
Track project information with accuracy and strong attention to detail.
Assist in setting up jobs so they run efficiently and successfully.
Help resolve issues proactively before and during project launch.
Qualifications
Strong attention to detail.
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required.
Previous experience in construction, commercial flooring, or project coordination preferred.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
