Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools and schematics to identify issues accurately.
- Repair and maintain various vehicle systems, including powertrain, suspension, electrical systems, Air conditioning and brakes.
- Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical problems effectively.
- Conduct vehicle maintenance services.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently to complete repairs with precision and safety.
- Document all repairs thoroughly for auto estimating purposes and ensure adherence to manufacturer specifications.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
Qualifications
- Proven service technician experience with a solid background in automotive repair.
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmission, electrical, and suspension.
- Proficiency in automotive diagnostics and familiarity with automotive diagnostic tools.
- Experience working with Schematics, and wiring diagrams, is highly desirable.
- Ability to interpret automotive wiring diagrams accurately and troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills paired with a customer-focused approach.
- Valid mechanic license or certification preferred; ongoing technical proficiency development encouraged.
