Gulf Coast European Automotive is recruiting an experienced Master European Automotive Technician to join our team in downtown Clearwater.
This is not an entry-level or general technician position. We are looking for a highly skilled European specialist who is confident diagnosing and repairing today's complex luxury European vehicles.
Our shop specializes in Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Volkswagen, Porsche, Land Rover, MINI, Volvo and other European luxury vehicles.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
The right technician should be comfortable taking a vehicle from diagnosis to completed repair with minimal supervision.
You should have strong experience with:
- Advanced electrical and drivability diagnostics
- European scan tools and diagnostic procedures
- Engine performance and mechanical repairs
- Cooling systems
- A/C and climate-control systems
- Suspension and steering
- Brake systems
- Engine and transmission repairs
- Oil and coolant leaks
- CAN-bus and electrical communication issues
- Programming, coding and module diagnostics
- Preventative maintenance and factory scheduled services
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who can diagnose—not just replace parts.

REQUIREMENTS
Master-level European automotive experience is required.
Applicants should have extensive hands-on experience servicing and diagnosing multiple European luxury brands.
You must have:
- Strong diagnostic and electrical skills
- Professional-grade tools
- Valid driver's license
- Clean and professional work habits
- Ability to accurately document diagnostic findings and repairs
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Commitment to performing repairs correctly the first time
ASE certifications and manufacturer training are strongly preferred.
