Duties
- Conduct regular inspections of building systems, machinery, and equipment to identify potential issues before they escalate
- Perform repairs on appliances, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), and mechanical systems using schematics and technical manuals
- Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and refrigeration problems efficiently and accurately
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for compliance and future reference
- Assist with installation projects, including construction tasks related to facility upgrades or equipment upgrades
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize downtime
- Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during major repair or installation projects when necessary
Experience
- Proven service technician experience with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical maintenance
- Familiarity with reading schematics, technical diagrams, and electrical wiring diagrams
- Hands-on experience in equipment repair and preventative maintenance practices
- Knowledge of HVAC systems including air conditioning units and refrigeration technology
- Mechanical knowledge related to construction, equipment troubleshooting, and repair procedures
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide junior team members or coordinate maintenance activities effectively
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment where safety protocols are prioritized
