Destiny Associate 24-HR EA and Remote IHS Specialist (Part-time)
We are looking for specialists who will provide services mornings and afternoons, as well as specialists to provide services afternoons and evenings.

Destiny Associate, you will provide individualized and community supports to
adults with disabilities through our unique IHS with Training, Individualized Home
Supports and IHS Remotes Support programs. You will support individuals to
increase their independent living skills and build individual and community success
through positive supports and various training techniques including: trust
building, role modeling, client training and education, organizing, planning,
budgeting, healthy home strategies, cleaning and home maintenance, cooking,
driving or accompanying into the community, special event assistance, working
out or physical fitness, documenting progress on goals, and using field
applications.
Skills needed include: effective communication, computer and technology skills,
specialty software apps, networking, group work, leadership, basic first aid
knowledge, various education techniques, and some office skills. But above all else
you must care.
These Destiny Associates work in a hybrid environment, providing support both in-
person and remotely. This includes working directly in individuals’ homes, as well as
offering support through phone and video calls. Associates are also active in the
community—participating in events, attending special activities, and responding to
urgent situations as needed. Additional responsibilities include completing required
trainings, engaging in ongoing professional development to build skills, managing
documentation and paperwork, and supporting other program-related duties.
DreamLife Destiny is a unique company leading the way in Social Services to
restore the "Social" part of Social Services. We do individual work through various
techniques such as role modeling and body doubling to build trust, confidence,
and skills. We do group events and clubs to help our DreamLifers (clients)
overcome social anxiety and build natural supports and skills.
This position requires initial training, a driver's license, a reliable vehicle with valid
auto insurance, pass a required background study, being around support animals,
and you must be comfortable with and willing to drive around the twin cities,
including during periods of inclement weather.
