Role Overview

As Controller, you’ll own accounting and finance across a growing portfolio of companies while helping lay the foundation for a tech-enabled future. This role is a hybrid role after the first 6 months, so you must be located in the Seattle/Tacoma region and be able to travel frequently between North Seattle and Tacoma, with additional limited travel. You must be prepared to work in office Monday - Friday for the first 6-months.

This role requires flexibility, leadership, and a deep belief in what’s possible when people are given the chance to rise.

Responsibilities

• You must be willing to dig in and do the work when needed, not just manage it.
• Learn all functions of departments from AP, AR, payroll, HR document processing, etc.
• Oversee accounting across multiple entities
• Own close, reconciliations, reporting, and compliance
• Build scalable systems and processes
• Lead budgeting for departments
• Work side-by-side with operators and future company leaders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
• 5 years in financial leadership, ideally with multi-entity experience
• Strong modeling, systems, and communication skills
• Comfortable working in high-growth, hands-on environments
• Based in the Seattle/Tacoma area with ability to travel between sites
• Deeply aligned with the mission of building businesses that elevate people
• Experience with NetSuite preferred
• Experience with ServiceTitan
