Automotive Service Manager

Dream Nissan Lawrence is seeking an experienced and results-driven Automotive Service Manager to lead our service department. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, driving financial performance, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a proven track record in dealership service operations, team development, and performance management.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of service department operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and high customer satisfaction
- Lead, coach, and develop service advisors, technicians, and support staff to achieve performance objectives
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators including labor hours, effective labor rate, and technician efficiency
- Ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality completion of all service and repair work
- Address and resolve customer concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain compliance with manufacturer standards, safety regulations, and company policies
- Manage departmental financial performance, including revenue growth, gross profit, and expense control
- Collaborate with other departments to support overall dealership success
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Service Manager or Senior Service Advisor within an automotive dealership
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- In-depth knowledge of automotive repair, diagnostics, and service operations
- Demonstrated ability to drive performance and improve operational efficiency
- Customer-focused approach with strong problem-solving abilities
- Experience with DMS systems such as Reynolds & Reynolds or CDK preferred
- ASE certification or technical background is a plus
