PURPOSE:
The Sales Manager drives the sales department to achieve monthly volume, gross profit, CSI, and operational goals. This role ensures consistent execution of dealership processes, accountability within the sales team, and alignment with Dream Motor Group's performance standards. The Sales Manager works closely with the General Manager, GSM, and Finance team to maintain a seamless and highly effective sales operation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Recruit, onboard, and develop sales consultants, ensuring knowledge of Toyota products, sales processes, and customer experience standards.
- Conduct daily sales meetings and weekly one-on-one coaching to review KPIs, including appointment set/show rates, demo drives, closing ratios, and CRM compliance.
- Oversee the sales floor, lot, and showroom traffic, ensuring excellent customer engagement.
- Review and approve deals, ensuring compliance with Toyota programs, incentives, and dealership profit goals.
- Manage leads, CRM tasks, and follow-up processes to maximize closing rates.
- Collaborate on inventory planning, pricing, and merchandising, including lot organization and online listings.
- Monitor customer satisfaction, review CSI surveys, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Prepare reports, track team performance, and support forecasting and goal-setting meetings.
Daily & Weekly Expectations:
- Support sales floor traffic, desk deals, and verify CRM compliance daily.
- Conduct team training and review inventory weekly.
- Track performance metrics and maintain accountability across the sales team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 3 years of automotive management experience
- Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
- Knowledge of sales operations, CRM systems, and deal structures
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive under pressure
- Customer-focused mindset
