Company Description
Dream Homes Inc. is a bespoke interior architecture and design firm whole home renovations, and custom home furnishings. Our services include interior architecture and interior design, construction documents, aging in place design, space planning, materials specifications, and historical restoration. Additionally, we offer custom design services such as custom furnishings, window treatments, lighting design, and 3-D modeling.
Role Description
We are looking for an energetic, passionate about design, self-starter interested in working collaboratively and well as independently on various aspects of our renovation projects.
Day to day activities include assisting with measures, entering and editing drawings in AutoCAD, producing renderings, space planning, creating construction documents, product research, curating materials, and contributing to overall project facilitation. Also, fabric selection and picking up and returning samples and product from our vendors.
Strong communication and organizational skills are a must!!
This is a part-time hybrid role for an Interior Design Assistant based in Littleton, CO. (30 hours a week).
Qualifications
- Expertise with drafting and rendering software (e.g., AutoCAD, 3-D Max, SketchUp, etc.) a must
- Expertise with residential design and the Design process
- Excellent Communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and in a hybrid work environment
- Completion of a Design Degree program preferred
- Must currently reside in the Denver metro area
