Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated School Site Facilitator to support our newly implemented Flex Day Academy. Seeking an individual to foster a positive learning environment at our school. The ideal candidate must be prepared to work independently and run the operations of the school. Will coordinate activities, assist with student engagement, and collaborate with staff of (Lead teachers, Site Social workers, Therapists) to ensure the smooth operation of school initiatives. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to student success and school community development through effective leadership and administrative support.
THIS POSITION REQUIRES CANDIDATES TO BE STERN AND STRONG IN PROVIDING DIRECTION, DISCIPLINE AND ORDERS TO STUDENTS AND CAN EFFECTIVELY COMMUNICATE WITH PARENTS & COMMUNITY (CANNOT BE TIMID OR INTIMIDATED) **This is a strong leadership position applicants lacking this strength should not apply.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and implement educational activities and programs at the school site
- Support teachers and staff in daily operations and classroom activities
- Facilitate communication between students, parents, and school administration
- Assist in organizing events, workshops, and extracurricular activities
- Monitor student behavior and promote a safe, inclusive environment
- Maintain records related to program participation and student progress
- Attend professional development conferences, workshops and state mandated meetings
- Provide guidance and mentorship to students to enhance their academic experience
**This position is ideal for a candidate interested in educational (Administration) leadership-seeking hands-on experience in management, director, assistant principal or principal. Must have some college coursework in education.
Qualifications
- Higher education teaching experience or background in education administration preferred (any management or director, office lead)
- Hands on previous experience
- Demonstrated experience working with students in an educational setting
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams of educators, students, and families
- Passion for supporting student development and fostering a positive school climate
- Teaching license preferred (Relevant experience will outweigh formal education, only submit if interested and ready to seriously pursue this position) **MUST PASS CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK
Pay: $ $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16.0 – 30.0 per week
