What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavior Technician position at Dream Builders ABA?
Dream Builders ABA is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician/RBT to join our team. The Behavior Technician will work with a child in their daycare to implement behavior intervention plans created by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Schedule available:
Monday–Friday, 2:30–5:30 PM (Daycare services required; daycare will require a staff background check)
Weekends: Saturday or Sunday 9-12/10-1
Location: Williamsburg VA
Client Information:
- Communicates using 3-word phrases
- Does not consistently follow instructions
- Limited social interactions
- Mild aggression
Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior plans and skill acquisition programs as directed by the BCBA
- Collect data on client progress and behavior
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
- Utilize behavioral therapy techniques to support skill development
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using the provided tablet
- Collaborate professionally with the treatment team to support comprehensive care
Requirements:

- Experience with children or individuals with special needs
- Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Strong understanding of behavior management techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
