Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – Virginia Beach, VA

Dream Builders ABA is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work 1:1 with a 5-year-old client in Virginia Beach, VA. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young children in structured settings and values consistency and collaboration.

Position Details

• Location: Virginia Beach, VA
• Client Age: 5 years old
• Setting: Daycare and home (with potential transition fully to daycare)
• Hours: 18 hours per week
  
  
  

Schedule

• Monday–Thursday:
  
  
  

Daycare sessions from 7:30–10:30 AM

• Wednesday–Friday:
  
  
  

2:30–4:30 PM

(Currently home-based; may transition to daycare)

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision
• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy sessions
• Collect accurate and timely data
• Use positive reinforcement and evidence-based strategies
• Collaborate with supervisors, caregivers, and daycare staff
• Maintain ethical and professional standards
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification (required)
• Experience working with young children preferred
• Ability to work in daycare and home settings
• Reliable transportation
• Strong communication skills and openness to feedback
