Behavior Technician

Dream Builders ABA is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team and work 1:1 with a client in Gloucester, VA. The Behavior Technician will implement individualized behavior intervention plans created by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

• Schedule: Afternoons, Tuesday through Friday from 4:30 to 6:30/7 PM
• Hours: 10 hours per week

**Responsibilities:** -

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
• Implement behavior plans and skill acquisition programs as directed by the BCBA
• Collect data on client progress and behavior.
• Utilize behavioral therapy techniques to support clients.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records using provided tablet.
• Collaborate with the treatment team to provide comprehensive care.

Requirements:

• Passionate about helping others.
• Knowledge of how to navigate technology.
• Comfortable working in the home setting.
• Experience working with children or individuals with special needs.
• Familiarity with applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles.
• Strong understanding of behavior management techniques .
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
