Position Overview
The Site Coordinator provides leadership for the daily operations of the Dream Big! Program. This role manages staff, oversees programming, ensures a safe and welcoming environment, and supports program evaluation and reporting.
The Site Coordinator works closely with program leadership to ensure high-quality programming, strong community relationships, and positive outcomes for youth participants and their families.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership
- Lead planning and implementation of academic and enrichment programming including STEM, arts, leadership, and social-emotional learning.
- Supervise and support Achievement Coaches, junior staff, and volunteers.
- Create a welcoming, structured, and engaging environment for participants.
- Communicate regularly with families, school partners, and program leadership.
- Develop family engagement opportunities and events.
- Prepare and distribute monthly program newsletters and calendars.
- Gather feedback through surveys and program evaluation tools.
Operations and Administration
- Maintain accurate program records and outcome data required by DREAAM and funders.
- Monitor program supplies and maintain inventory.
- Ensure program spaces remain safe, organized, and functional.
- Review and approve staff schedules and timesheets.
- Facilitate staff meetings and coordinate daily operations.
- Assist with staff recruitment, onboarding, and training.
- Participate in professional development and organizational initiatives.
Position Details
- Programming primarily Monday through Friday with occasional weekend programs & community events.
- Participation in outreach activities and family engagement initiatives is expected.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in youth development or program leadership.
- Experience supervising staff or coordinating programs.
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships with youth, families, schools, and community partners.
- Cultural competence and experience working within African American communities.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed practices and positive behavior supports.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
Salary : $22
