Job Title: After School Program Site Coordinator
Location: Various Danville Elementary Schools
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Thursday
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic, organized, and passionate After School Program Site Coordinator to lead and manage our engaging after school programs. This program plays a vital role in helping students succeed academically, plan for their futures, and thrive socially and emotionally—especially those who have been exposed to violence or trauma.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the after school and summer program
- Supervise program staff, volunteers, and partner facilitators.
- Coordinate and implement programming including:
- STEM activities
- Art enrichment
- Field trips and special events
- Ensure a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for all students.
- Maintain accurate attendance, reports, and communication with families and school staff.
- Support youth impacted by violence through trauma-informed practices and mentoring.
- Communicate regularly with school administration and community partners.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with youth in an educational or community setting.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Passion for youth development and equity in education.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with trauma-informed practices and social-emotional learning.
